Sustainability forms an important part of how the business operates and plans for the future. Reducing environmental impact while maintaining high standards of service remains a clear priority.
A formal commitment has been made to achieving net zero emissions by 2050. The Carbon Reduction Plan outlines baseline emissions, current performance, and the practical steps being taken to reduce carbon across operations, including investment in electric equipment, improved monitoring of energy use, and strengthened reporting processes.
Since establishing the baseline in May 2023, measurable progress has been made in reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. Data collection across relevant Scope 3 activities continues to be strengthened to support transparent reporting and informed decision making.
The approach is centred on continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and embedding environmental responsibility into day to day working practices.
Carbon Reduction Plan
The Carbon Reduction Plan has been developed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and relevant government reporting standards. It sets out baseline emissions, current reporting year data, emissions reduction targets, and both completed and planned initiatives supporting the net zero commitment.
The plan is reviewed and approved at director level and forms part of ongoing responsible business operations.
